We have an opening for an Associate Program Officer (first level study director) here at BASC/PRB. This is an excellent job for young scientists interested in using their expertise in a policy setting. We need a dynamic person with strong communications skills (written and oral), someone broadly interested in the atmospheric, climate, or polar sciences, and versatile enough to work on a variety of related issues. We are beginning a large, congressionally mandated climate study (details to come) and the new person will play an important role in this work. Polar experience is desired.
