It is time to conduct our regular rotation of U.S. representatives to the three SSGs (Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, GeoSciences) to fill slots vacant as current members end their 6-year terms.

Dear colleagues:

REMINDER TO FORWARD NOMINATIONS.

It is time to conduct our regular rotation of U.S. representatives to the three SSGs (Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, GeoSciences) to fill

slots vacant as current members end their 6-year terms.  Dr. Chuck Kennicutt and Dr. Terry Wilson remain our Delegate and Alternate

Delegate and they also participate in the SSGs.  We are seeking to replace 2 members in the GeoSciences group as the 6 year terms for Robin Bell and Ross Powell will end after the meeting Russia.

We are seeking nominations for potential members with expertise in geophysics or related fields and with expertise in glacial geology or

related fields.

Attached is a call for nominations for the U.S. Representatives to the SCAR Standing Scientific Groups. Nominations are due January 11 (no

later than Jan 18) to mailto:muhle@nas.edu  or fax 202 334 3531.

Regards,

Maria
